- Account & ticket purchase: name, email, phone number, billing address, and payment card details (processed by Stripe).
- Reservations & inquiries: party size, event date, occasion, and any notes you submit.
- Marketing opt-ins: email and SMS preferences you give us.
- Age verification: date of birth or ID at the door (21+).
Information we collect automatically
- Device information, IP address, browser type, and operating system.
- Pages you visit, links you click, and how you interact with the Services.
- Location data (approximate, based on IP) to show local events.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
Information from third parties
- Ticketing partners (Eventbrite, Posh, Fever, Booking.com) when you purchase a Tu Candela ticket through their platform.
- Social login providers if you sign in with Instagram, Facebook, Google, or Apple.

2. How we use your information
- Sell, issue, and verify tickets, and reserve bottle service tables.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.

- Send promotional messages about upcoming events, bar crawls, and bottle service offers (only with your consent).
- Personalize your experience and suggest events that match your interests.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), Twilio (SMS), Firebase/Google Cloud (hosting and data), Meta and TikTok (advertising with your consent).
- Venue partners: Rosario and Candela Bar for bar-crawl pass holders (your name and order only).
- Legal & safety: law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or public safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
- With your direction: when you ask us to share information (e.g., forwarding a ticket to a friend).
4. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and “sales” or “sharing” of personal data as defined by California and other state laws.
- Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- SMS: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Push: disable push notifications in your device settings.

If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Ticket and transaction records are typically retained for at least seven (7) years for accounting and tax purposes.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — TLS encryption in transit, restricted access, and tokenized payments through PCI-compliant processors. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
Our Services are intended for users aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International visitors
Tu Candela operates in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your country.
